Confirm the handover point
Not every airport rental is collected inside the terminal. The desk may be in a nearby building or the vehicle may be delivered by a representative. Read the supplier instructions before travel and keep the booking reference accessible.
Flight delays
Check waiting-time rules for delayed arrivals and whether the supplier needs your flight number. If the branch has fixed operating hours, confirm any after-hours process or charge.
Documents and payment
Prepare the driving licence, ID or passport required by the rental company, plus the payment card specified in its policy if a refundable hold or guarantee is required. Card acceptance is not identical across suppliers.
